First aspect: from the source of sound to find ways.
Because of the shape tolerance and position tolerance of the pulley itself, when the two pulleys rotate, they sound due to unbalanced centrifugal force.
1. When choosing synchronous pulley, we should choose high-quality and high-precision synchronous pulley.
2. The pre-tension of the synchronous belt is different from that of the flat belt. The synchronous belt relies on tooth meshing to transmit power, so it does not need a large pre-tension force. Excessive tension will seriously affect the service life of the belt and produce serious noise.
On the other hand, we should try to find ways to transmit noise. Aerodynamic noise is generated by gas disturbance when synchronous belt and pulley engage.
The wider the bandwidth of the muffler slot in the circumferential direction of the synchronous pulley, the longer the air flow path, the greater the pressure change of the gas, and the greater the noise.
Therefore, it is hoped that the width of synchronous pulley and belt is as narrow as possible, but the width of synchronous belt is approximately proportional to the transmitted power. In order to achieve the designed power, the pulley and belt must have a certain width.
